How many years will it take me if my dad will petition me to go to the states, he is only 4years there.

Go to Mexico and walk across our border. They won't deport  them. They  don't bother to come here with proper procedures. Why should you?

need to know your father status, your age, and your marital status

if dad is a green card holder and you are over 21 and single then about 7-9 years, but if from china, india, mexico or philippines much longer. if under 21 then about 5-7, but when you reach age 21 then you move from 2A to 2B prefrence category wihich puts you on the longer waiting list.
