  1. You mean how long will the tories fill their own pockets again vote for the BNP do your country a favour

  2. The whole first term of an incoming Conservative government would be a repair job, then they'd have to decide where they want to take the country from there and go to the polls to get a mandate to implement that programme.

  3. it will take aslong as it took new labour to put it right about ten years!

  4. The Tories change the direction of the economy but not with regards to  Europe, so in effect nothing will change, and in answer to Sir Alan Sugar's support for Gordon Brown Sugar is misguided,  Brown' first disastrous move as Chancellor was the Pensions fiasco, this was a sign of things to come, the man is a bungling idiot, incapable of intelligent co-ordination of his Cabinet and the people therein.

We need to get out of Europe and to stop immigration of unskilled labour, we need to kick out all foreign nationals who are criminals and bring back the death penalty and conscription, then we will start to get Britain back on track! BNP

  5. About the same amount of time it took Margaret Thatcher when she beat James Callaghan in 1979.

  6. lots

  7. They can't do it. Half the mess is they're fault anyway. Thatcherite politics has wrecked this country.

  8. Once we get rid of Gordon we should see an improvement within twenty minutes.

  9. I do not accept that Gordon Brown has mis- managed the economy. He has made some silly mistakes, but the Tories would would certainly not help.

  10. The word 'Great' should be investigated under the Trades Description Act.   Within the next 10 years GB will not include Scotland and I think Wales might also head in the direction of freedom.   G. Brown inherited a poisoned chalice from Tony Bliar (deliberate spelling).   The issue then will be 'can England survive as an independent country?'

  11. I don't know.

But you can bet that within a fortnight of the Tories taking over New Labour will be blaming them for everything that's gone wrong.

  12. A least 20years!

  13. Past statistics on the economy show that it also bounce back from its lows every 5 years. By 2012 together with the London olympic factors, the UK economy should be good then. I don't think its fair, to blame Gordon Brown and his government. The finger should be pointed to those Investment Banks which now have to pay for their misdeeds by doing their huge writedowns.

  14. It usually takes about ten and then a labour government takes about five to start wrecking it again. because the tories got it right before it took labout about 3 to ruin it because the first 5 it followed Tory polcies except for the pension theft. it follows that the economy was wrecked about 8 years ago and we are only just finding out.

  15. Tories have been in power for the last decade. Tony Blair is the biggest Tory of the lot I'm afraid lol.

The Labour party was a just a front they used  :)

  16. It would take a much stronger government than the Tories to sort out Britain - it would take a BNP government

    VOTE BNP

  17. It took both Winston Churchill and Margaret Thatcher about four years to pick up the pieces following the last two labour disasters. The main problem is that they have to take very tough measures and when all is strong again there's the next general election on the horizon with people remembering the tough measures and not the overall benefits.

  18. Gordon is just completing what maggie started the beginning to the end of living in a democracy one torie goes down another one turns up

    same politics different name

it was the biggest political scam of all time Gb has nothing to do with the real Labour party

  19. I'm of the opinion that you don't really understand politics. When we got rid of the Tories, the country's coffers were almost empty. It took a long time to get it back to almost normal. If you look at world politics, the whole d**n world looks like its going bankrupt but its not. If people continue to spend money they haven't got sooner or later they will have to pay. Big time. The Government tried to warn us years ago that if we didn't stop spending and start to save that this day would come [ie the credit crunch]. Why don't you look at the plus side and see what this Labour gov have done? Its quite a lot of good things in the last 10 [?] years.
