  1. most workers care about money to pay the bills.

  2. apathetic! Because my jobs are never what i want to do! Ever since i started working, ive worked at restaurants. Im 22 and i never worked for more than a month. I've had 3 jobs total. The longest one was for a month. So yeah..i dont like working and i choose not to since im in college. Im not going to passionate be about a job, i will be about my CAREER.

  3. good question.

here in the UK i think the citizens love their jobs cos they do want they want as the we have europeans coming to dothe jobs we hate...sad but true..u americans i have no idea..do u lot work?

  4. I try to keep a good attitude, but the days of getting a good job out of high school and retiring from that job are gone.

today we see jobs as "temporary". The second things get a little rough for the company the lay offs come.

There was a time that it was considered prestigious to pay your workers more that your competitors pay theirs. Now they pay as little as they can get away with and work you as little as possible. I really do try to show loyalty but as a throw away worker, the company I work for should not expect anything extra.

  5. I don't care.  I mean I care enough that I do a good job to get my paycheck, but where I work I can't ever get a raise I can't move up and its just kinda temporary a few years until my baby is old enough so I can move away and find a real job.

  6. Not that many.  But I do care about my work because I want to get a promotion.  I'm only 20, but I make like 14 bucks an hour working for a small business that puts used books online.  The work isn't that bad, and I get paid minimum plus a bonus.  The way I get the bonus is by how fast I put the books online, so it gives me insentive to work hard.  If I slack off I get paid not that much, so I do care tremendously about my work, much more than the average person my age does.

  7. I can understand why we may be perceived as not caring about our work. But I think it depends on the person. Myself, for instance I care about my job performance as a form of future networking, but I don't really have a passion for it. The career I get after college I'll have a passion for, but until then I just work to take care of bills and spending money.

  8. I'm severely apathetic.
