We know that young impressionable kids like to follow whoever is successful and in the news. Are we now going to see a generation grow up as City fans and how do you think it will impact on united?

  1. Maybe the question should be how many Chelsea glory hunters will now 'support' Man City. Impact on United not a lot - most of their fans are not from Manchester anyway ;-)

  2. Probably same as before none one new player doesn't make a team

  3. what? just for buying robinho the kids will not like the team just for that

  4. City have yet to prove their worth. Just because they have billions of pounds at their disposal it doesn't mean that they'll automatically a start winning big trophies - uh-hum, Chelsea!

Besides, it'll take about 2-3 years for the team to develop and mesh, even if they do buy the world's best players, who's to say that they'll play well together, or that the manager will maximise their potential. Big players have big egos and don't like sharing the limelight with each other.

Although I do hope it means fewer Utd fans! We could do with less arrogance in the Premiership.

  5. not sure but im 16 ive sported them all my life

  6. At the worst, the young kids right now might grow up into footballers who actually dream of playing for manchester......city.  that's on the extremely pessimistic end but that would be pretty horrible.

  7. man.city is not yet THAT popular.they still havent shown that they are a team worthy to be supported by glory-hunters nor have they won something yet nor will they.just because they bought one world-class player it doesnt mean all of a sudden that they are successful and thay they are going to be winning the title every year.it will take a few years before they evolve as a team and start winning something

and for that to happen they need a knowledgeable manager and cooperation among the players along with consistency

its not easy to break into the top 4 when you lack these and the quality of football and the perfect strikers who will be scoring and winning matches

so no,kids wont yet start supporting man.city

for the moment they will stick to man.utd who has more potential than man.city, not just the money, and are likely to win something at the present time ,unlike man.city

  8. NONE becasue no one likes Robiniho

  9. giggs will hes a glory hunter

t/d wanna be in my gang

  10. I was thinking the same thing but I've always liked robinho as a player  I think a lot of people r gonna like man . City   now that there gonna buy everysuperstar out there

  11. tons....im tempted myself lol

  12. uncountable

  13. that depends on whether city will be smart enough not to purchase too many white elephants. no point having lotsa money but you buy useless players.

anyway, yeah, i think a substantial amount of youngsters would follow city after this, given that they manage to get their 'dream' team as they have stated.
