How many zebra danios can you fit in a 15 gallon tank?

  1. You could probably jam around 1800, possibly more in there.  Of course, that's with no water.

    If you're planning on a nice aquarium, about 12.  It depends on the dimensions of the tank.  A 15 long is better for danios and other fast swimming fish.

  3. Zebra Danios grow to be 2.5" long. If they are the only fish you are planning to house in the tank, you could get away with 5-7.

    A good combination for your size tank would be 5 Danios, plus a Betta, some plants, a few shrimp and a snail or 2.

    If you have not done so, be sure to read up on cycling your tank before you buy any fish.

    you shouldn't cramp them in such a small place

    and they grow about 1 1/2 inches

  5. i was told to keep it to 1inch of fish per gallon and since they are small I would say 20-28 to be on the safe side.
