You don't say where in the Bahamas but it will take a couple of hours if you can get a direct flight, more if you have to make a stop somewhere else in Florida.

heyy it depends on what flight you takeeee.. im from tampa too and at first we took a flight from tampa to miami which is about 45 minutes and then miami to nassau which is anohter 45 minutes

idk if they have straight flights from tampa to nassau ... so you'd probably be there in about 2 hours

From TPA to NAS... if the flight is direct.. maybe an hour and a half.

hours?  It's really minutes.  Probably from St. Pete/Tampa it might be an hour or so.  From Ft. Lauderdale, it's 30 minutes.

If you are travelling by air on Bahamasair it usually takes appoximately 35 minutes to arrive in Miami and 50 - 55 minutes to arrive in Ft. Lauderdale.  

What usually makes the arrival longer depends on the flow of air traffic leaving and arriving in and out the airport of your destination.

I have never travelled to St. Pete, therefore, I am unable to give an answer.
