  1. I am not sure what you mean by "how mass and weight work" - can you clarify?

In terms of Physics, Mass is a related to how much matter exists in an object. Weight on the other hand is about how hard gravity is pulling that mass. For example, if you are flying in an airplane, your mass remains unchanged. However, as you fly higher and higher, the gravitational pull of earth on your body decreases. So your weight will decrease in a high flying airplane. In fact, in space, you will be weightless but your mass will still be the same as it was before (ignoring the effects of space travel on human body)

    Does that help?

  2. plzz axk more claerlier.

  3. Weight affects the amount of wing area required to lift the airplane and the amount of power required to propel it at flying speeds.  The heavier the airplane, the more wing area is needed and the more power is needed, though the design parameters allow some trade-offs.  At a given target weight, you can design a slow airplane with less power and lots of wing area (and therefore more drag) or you can design a faster airplane with less wing area, and compensate for the reduced wing area by adding more power.

There are various other trade-offs that can be done.

Mass has a different set of consequences.  The more massive an object, the more inertia it has, and therefore the more in advance the pilot must anticipate the airplane's movements and the more forcefully the controls must be used in a given situation.

A Boeing 747 flies basically the same way as a great big Piper Cherokee, but you have to be more sensitive to how it will move in certain situations and you have to be more decisive on the controls.

Look up "airplane design" and/or talk this over with your teacher.

    Good luck!

  4. What's the question?  Please make it clear.

  5. ok lets say u are flying in a cessna u are by ur self and lets say u weigh 150 lb u wouldnt use both tanks of gas but u would use the right side so that the plane is level and when the plane will fly its self then u change it to both that how it basically works
