I am reasonably confident, a friend graduated from the University of Toronto, this June. I would like to send her my congratulations. However, I have been out of touch, and would like to confirm, she indeed did graduate, prior to sending my congratulations.

So far, I have watched about twenty hours of webcast Convocation, and have not seen her, or heard her name. I realize, she may not have attended her Convocation. I also don't know what school she attended. I only know she was studying English, at the Toronto Campus.

Since the webcasts were public, I was hoping there would be a public listing, or announcement somewhere. Any help, would be greatly appreciated.

  1. Well if you go onto the website....

    http://www.utoronto.ca/

you can probably find the administrators office number and ask for her first and last name and they may be able to find her for you?

EDIT: Or you know....if you live in Toronto, Canada, then you can just visit the University or maybe find her in the phonebook or something? I dont know, just trying to help.

  2. Pretend to be a prospective employer and email the university.  Enquiries by employers checking qualifications are routine.  I was very surprised that that top NZ civil servant got away for so long with lying that she had a PhD from the London School of Economics.
