I am having a small wedding that we can afford. My question is how many rose petals do I need for the whole wedding? I know there will be petals on the head table all down the middle of three 6ft tables, around the centerpieces on the 10 90" round guest tables, around the cake on the cake table, and for the flower girl. The petals I like at Michaels come in one box of 300 pieces. How many boxes do I need for everything and for it to look full and nice?

  1. 6 to 8

if you want it to look really good and not just like a few scattered petals

  2. I agree with Audra, if not a couple more to insure you have enough. Keep the receipt in case you didn't need them all. Better to have too much than not enough. Who wants to be running around town to grab more at the last moment??

  3. i'd get 600 petals. That should be more than enough. If you have lots spare you could put them in a basket after the ceremony and people could throw them at you as you leave.

  4. I'd say 3 boxes would suffice.

If you'd prefer do a more economical approach, you may buy bouquets of flowers at local delis and just use the petals...

    Good luck!

  5. if you have extras use 'em for somethin else.. honeymoon, Valentines...

    buy extra...

  6. My estimate would be three boxes... any leftovers can always be used on the honeymoon ;)
