How meny mpgs did you gain shuting your car of at stoplight???

if you are one of those people that shut there cars engiengine at every stoplight how meny mpg increses did you see in the car???? i will chose a best ansure ....

ive never tried it but it takes more gas to start a car than it does to idle for less than a minute. besides i think it'd p**s the people off behind u if u had to start up b4 u take off

for as long as you are at a stoplight, for how many stoplights you will be stopped at, there will be absolutely no difference in mileage. Are you sure these people arent shutting there cars off because they are overheating and cant afford to fix them because theyve spent all their money on gas?
