Question:

How might I create a h**l-inspired restaurant application?

A restaurant that I would like to host or wait for is called "h**l's Kitchen" and asks any applicants to implement their creativity in whatever form they choose. An employee I spoke to mentioned that some people had sent in mini coffins and others had sent in aprons. The form of this application is completely up to me. I do plan on including the basics, like a resume.

Thanks for your suggestions :)

  1. You could spike your resume onto a pitchfork painted red, maybe add some flame decals.

I'd say do something with dry ice, but that could be risky I guess.

Write your resume as if it were a contract to sell your soul. What the heck, make a scroll out of it. Burn the edges.

Rewrite the lyrics to Sympathy For the Devil or The Devil Went Down To Georgia, to include your vital information. Get the karaoke track and sing it. (Include a written transcript)

OK, well, I still like the pitchfork best, but I tried.

Is this the h**l's Kitchen in Minneapolis, by any chance? That seems like a cool place. Good luck!

***Edit) Hey! Don't people in h**l want ice water? You could fill a red cooler with ice water and put your resume on the lid.

Or, or, or, you could make a devilsfood cake and write your resume in frosting on the top. Decorate with little skulls and other such novelties.

(I love this question, can you tell?)

  2. Write it with the blood of six firstborn children, in Latin.  Seal it in an envelope with the fat of a virgin sacrifice, and the emblem of a goats head. And all your parchment should be made of the leathered skin of an ordained priest.  Dress in jewelry made of the bleached bones of the sacrificed infants, and bring an offering of the virgin's blood contained in the stomach of the priest.

If that doesn't totally sell your prospective employers on your dedication to the restaurant's theme than nothing will, friend.

  3. Deliver your application in a devil's suit.

  4. this is too easy.hand them a flaming copy first
