  1. Become Well Educated about the process and the candidates.

    Volunteer on the phones or canvassing in your town.

    Ensure your friends are registered to vote.

  2. Pick the party that you find meets most of your ideals, join that party & do volunteer work for them.  Offer to work the polling places. Offer to drive people to the polls.  Above all, be an informed voter!  Just because you join a political party doesn't mean that you have to stay with that party, you can register with a different party at any time.  In other words, don't put all of your eggs in one basket & become one of those who just follow a party no matter what!  Use the options you have in life.
