How might the psychology of racial intolerance and prejudice affect the political strategies of racial/ethnic minorities?

  1. The only way that minorities can use this to their advantage is to make the racists look bad, and produce a counter-reaction. The racists, on the other hand, will use the prejudice itself as a tool to help their side win. They will disguise it as best they can, coming out as against such things as illegal immigration or rap music, but the subtext is that white people need to keep other people down.


  2. If a group of people or person are prejudice to a certain race that is a candidate for some type of election they will not vote for them. As for strategies if a candidate that is running openly expresses racial discrimination to a certain race people that share those views will vote for them and people of that race or people who oppose those views will not vote for them.
