  1. The biggie would be that they'd be called the Marynic Wars.

    Sorry, I couldn't resist.

    Since I have no training in military strategy, my efforts at conquest would have resulted in massive slaughter of my troops and an early defeat. I might never have been exiled to Elba.


  2. The war wouldn't have started.  I don't have an insufferably large ego.
