well trees are cut down on a large scale for obtaining timber n dis leads to deforestation.. areas rich in mineral deposits are put under minig without considering whether it is an agricultural land or a forest or a grassland.. n mining denatures d soil n landscape n makes it barren..

mining requires huge tract of land for its operation and will therefore lead to cutting of many trees. it also sputs out chemicals and other waste from its operation therefore leading to further degradation of the land.
