  1. for the first two passengers it will cost an initial amount and the third is a discount rate you can check out some cruise websites to find out the actual costs depending on the destination,type of cabin,and length of cruise.

  2. There is no way someone can answer this question. You need some specifics, like where, when, what cruise ship, etc.

  3. All depends ...

  4. Tinkertoy has is all in a nutshell.   Just go to the website for the fleet you want to travel on and you can get prices.  My husband, myself, and my sister-in-law are going on a balcony/7 day/Carribean cruise ..in December.  Our room is $3000 for the week.  My 2 daughters  and her 2 kids will be on the inside cabin, on the same level (levels count too) and her room is like $2200.  This is on the 9th level up which is more expensive.

    If you have the availability and chance to just drop and go, there is a "90 day ticker" web site you can go to http://www.vacationstogo.com/ticker.cfm?... and check out last minute ones for cheap!  Hope that helps

  5. There are a lot of factors that affect the final cost of a cruise for 3 people. The bottom line is that cruises generally cost about $125.00 per day per person AND all cruises are priced based on double occupancy (2 people per cabin). Then the third person's fare is about 50% of what the fare is for the first two.

    Since cruises can be 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, 12, or 14 days or more the price will depend mostly on how many days your cruise is. Then the cruise lines give the best price for early bookings that are a year or more in advance. Cruise lines also list specials on their web sites so do look for those. The specials can many times save you a couple hundred per person over the price for the exact same cruise on a different date.

    The price you pay will depend also on the type cabin/accommodations that you choose.

    There are 4 basic types of cabins on ships;

    - inside (no window),................................... least expensive

    - outside (a window or porthole),

    - balcony/veranda, and

    - suites and penthouses.......................... most expensive.

    The "FROM" prices you see will always be for an inside cabin. There are also some subcategories within each category with cabins on a higher deck, and/or a better location on ship (like midship), and/or that are slightly larger costing more.

    Carnival is the budget cruise line that generally has the lowest prices.  A seven day cruise on a Carnival and many other cruise lines and ship can be as low as $650. per person for a 7 day cruise and much less for shorter 3, 4 or 5 day cruises.  You could conceivably go on a 4 day cruise for $400 per person and a total of about $1,000 for 3 people, plus taxes and fuel supplement charges; maybe  a grand total of $1200.
