  1. I sent a small card to a friend in the USA last week for 56p - that was the price of a postcard to the US as well though, so I'm guessing if it's a larger or heavier one it'll be more.

  2. Hi,

I work for royal mail. The two answers I read so far are correct and the best way is to go to the post office to find out. Don't forget though Royal Mail have a two tier postage system now (details are on there web site) so if you are sending a letter that is over 165mm across( I think) it will cost more. I sent a package to USA today and although it wasn't heavy it was quite large and only cost £3.65 so I suppose whatever you send its very reasonable.

  3. You can just go to the post office in your area and tell them you need to send a letter internationally and they'll calculate the exact amount you'll need.

If you want to do it another way, you can add a couple more stamps than the standard there. For instance, if it's only required for 1 stamp to be mailed in your country, then add 2-3 more stamps to make sure it gets to the US. =D

  4. Airmail for a letter up to 20 gms is 81 pence 20-40 is £1-22

    Dont forget airmail sticker .
