How much DEET do I need to use before mosquitos will leave me alone?

I've been using bottles of it for days and all that's happened so far is my lips have gone numb.

So how much DEET do you need to drink before you repel mosquitos?

(Because it's nasty, and I'm starting to feel queazy.)

  1. Can a person ever drink /too/ much Deet? I mean really. It would be like saying you should spit out Listerine after you rinse with it.
