  1. I'm not sure exactly how to do this, but my guess is that if you set the 4 times great grandfather at 100% and divide by half you'll get this...

    4 times great grandfather 100%
    3 times great grandfather 50%
    2 times great grandfather 25%
    great grandfather 12.5%
    granfather 6.25%
    father 3.125%
    you 1.5625%

    *these percentages are the DNA shared between the person and the 4 times great grandfather*

    So you have 1.5625% shared DNA of your 4 times great grandfather
