depends on the visa kind you are applying for , immigrant visa is not like student or visitor visa

Well..I know the state department requires an anual income of 18 thousand dollars to sponsor anyone to come to usa. Alone it is multiplyed by 4...... meaning that the individual not traveling with a sponsor would need a minimum of 72 thousand dollars. But that includes assets..such as cars and houses and land values..still a high number for a country that was founded by people who declared that its purpose was to welcome the tired, the poor, the weak , the hungry....
