  1. All depends on how much you earn and what deductions you have. You can do your tax on-line, just before you lodge it it will give you an estimate on how much you receive back or if you have to pay.

  2. depends on how many deductions you have, they differ for what type of industry you are in

  3. If your taxable income was $45,000 your tax liability would be $8,850. On this basis you should get a refund of $3,150

  4. O.k this is a very frustrating question that many people ask around this time of year. Are you single, what is your occupation, do you have private health insurance, do you have a car, do you support your parents in any way, are you paying off a house, do you do much overtime, have you done any training courses for your work, are you in a union, do you donate to charity? without this and other information theres no way you can get a figure, I can only say if I personally earned that amount and I am a factory process worker, I would estimate a return of around $3000-$4000, however just remember if you go to an accountant you might get a busy accountant that doesn't take the time to get you all your benefits and doesn't bother to understand tax pack themselves and you might get a lousy amount. Go to someone who knows what they are doing or read tax pack thoroughly, becasue I assure you that the tax department calls you if they think you've underpaid but if you've overpaid they don't tell you a thing
