How much MRI COST IN ONTARIO ,CANADA,FOR THE UNINSURED PATIENT?

My 9yrs old need MRIof hip ,but he doesnot have healthcard right now,so can it be possible to have it done privately and what would be the cost

get him to the ontario health card office and get him one today...they will even back date it for you as to make sure any costs for and medical needs are covered.......do not hesistate on this, go get him his health card!!!!!!!! but go directly to the office closest to you, don't apply on line as i am sure there will be a waiting period.

Its hard to find actual pricing in Ontario for MRI ... and I think you HAVE to do this at private facilities.  If you put the dollar at par with the US and look at prices in Buffalo, the cost is anywhere from $250 - 500 ... most likely in the higher range.

I have included a link of a couple of GTA based private centres ... although they do not list prices, it may be a good starting point  for you ...
