  2. This may help!

Size is not the issue.  The PN rating is more important.  Each PN is rated to a certain pressure.  You really need to know your flow rates through the pipe.  ie how much water do you need?  The TEE is a PN 18.  Just need to conver MPA to PSI

    PN 6       Class 6       0.6 MPa

    PN 9       Class 9       0.9 MPa

    PN 12     Class12     1.2 MPa

    PN 15     Class 15     1.5 MPa

    PN 16     Class 16     1.6 MPa

    PN 18     Class 18     1.8 MPa

    PN 20     Class 20      2.0 MPa

  3. We have hydrostatically tested PVC pipe to withstand a pressure of 50 psig.

  4. Depends greatly on the temperature.

PVC does poorly if the temp goes beyond 90-100F.

  5. It depends on the pipe manufacturer , because they produce different pressure tolerable pipe of same size. I mean a 3"x3" pipe can tolerate different pressure depending on the pipe material . It is fixed by the manufacturer.

  6. Thickness iis an indicator. You need to ask your supplier. The adhesive/joins are an important factor too.
