How much SPACE NEEDED for C: DRIVE if I have a VISTA?

I have a 250G hard drive and I am going to partition it. How much space I need to leave for the C drive? Is it the larger the space, the faster my computer runs?

Um first of all it your asking this question i wouldn't continue on with the partitioning of your hard drive it doesn't really sound like you know enough to do this, but since you ask i will answer. you will probably need 10-15GB's of space to fully install and update vista. Second no space should not effect the speed of your computer.
