How much a GPS cost for car?

I am having caprice classic 1993 model I want to put GPS in it. Is it possible if yes how much it cost

I would go with a hand held GPS. If you ever want to put it in another car or take it with you on a road trip where your friend is driving then hand held is the way to go.  having a dash mounted is nice, but you'll use your hand held more often and it's nice to be able to bring it inside and program your trip with out sitting in your car.  Plus Hand helds are cheaper.  You should only have to pay between $150 and $250 for a good system

Walmart and Target are both good places to buy good brand GPS systems.  Tom Toms are a good brand and so are Garmin.  some of the GPS systems now even have picture viewer where you can put in your SD card and look at pictures.

If your willing to pay the bill each month then you could always get an I-phone or some other smart phone that have GPS.  those are great because you can get maps for when your on the road or walking down the street.

there are alot of handheld and handheld gps systems that can be purchased for under $150.   for an in dash you will probably have to go to a car stereo place and get an estimate.   But some of the ones that either stick to the windsheild or just sit on the dash are really good.   check out, www.tigerdirect.com  www.crutchfield.com and do some more shopping around and you can find some really good deals.

Handheld GPS-s are starting from $150 to $800.

I am using Magellan Maestro 3200 ( http://www.highspeedsat.com/car-gps/maes... ) and i like it. I bought mine for $230 on sale at Wal-Mart
