How much a day does it cost a day to pitch a tent at a campsite?

I wanna go off and have a break for a week or so, but I'm a bit short of money, so can't afford B&Bs etc.

So I'll go camping instead. I'm just wondering though roughly how much it costs in England to pitch a single tent (a small, one-person one) at a campsite.

Thanks in advance for any answers.

  1. Depends on the site, but expect to pay approx. £10-15 per night .

  2. depends where you go mate.its defintly the cheapest option tho

  3. there's a camp site in Skegness that charges £15 per tent per night

also there's a campsite on the outskirts of bridlington that charges £17 per night

  4. I was camping on the south coast at the weekend - a large pitch with electric hookup was £19 per night.  So I reckon you'd be looking at no more than £12 for a small pitch without electrics.  Enjoy yourself!

  5. Can be anything from £5 per night for a really basic site to £20 for a site with all amenities and possibly a club house.

  6. Between £10-£16 depending upon where it is located and what facilities it offers
