How much a fountain fun card costs at a cruise?

I' goin on a cruise ,can some one tell me how much a fountain card cost a,d also how much are the drinks??

A fountain card is $30. and it is for unlimited drinks for one person.  The drinks are about $2. each .. I can't really remember because I always got the card.  It is really worth it, if you are a soda drinker.

If you like soda, this is definately the way to go...the price may seem high, like $6 a day, but since sodas are from the bar at $3 apiece, it pays to buy the card.  Holland America has the worst soda program. You get tiny glasses from the bar. The cruise lines that give you a refillable tumbler are best. Tropical coctails (alcoholic) are about $5-7 and the drink card doesn't work for those.

It depends on the cruise line and the length of the cruise and they also charge a different rate for adults and children.

In March, we took the Carnival Conquest, a 7-day cruise.  The adult soda cards were about $40 and the kids cards were about $35.  In 2006, on a 5-day Carnival cruise, the adult card was $35 and the kids card was $30.

The cards provide you with a glass of soda upon request.  If you want a can of soda or order soda with room service, you pay for it.  If you typically drink 3 sodas a day, then the card pays for itself.

The soda by the can is $1.75.  Bar drinks are $4-12 each plus a 15% gratuity.

It is about the same cost on the Royal Caribbean.  However, the bartenders on the RC will go out of their way to serve the soda fountain drinkers last.  We have never had a problem getting sodas on Carnival using the card.

cruisecritic.com has info on current costs because people are always coming back from "Recent cruises" on the same ship and itinerary and they write informative reviews of the ship and experience.  Call the Cruise line for details. Remember you always will pay a mandatory 15% gratuity EACH time you have a soda from the card(it is included in the cost)  Have a good time.

Fountain cards range from 30 to 40 bucks....If you drink a lot of soda, its worth it. Soda 2.50 to 3 bucks
