How much a month do u pay on ur energy bills?

I live in Louisiana - our energy bill this time of year is around $300.00 a month (and that is only b/c I am on a levelized billing program with my energy company - most people here pay  300.00 to 400.00+)

(it's really really really hot here- b/w 90 and 100 degrees from June to Nov and our humidity is always very high)

electric is 60 and gas is 60 and im in a 2 room apartment

I pay £50 month electric and £35 a month gas, thats just for me and my baby in a small 2 bed flat!
