  1. None. It's filled with helium.

  2. 1) Skipping past the trick question - no air in a helium ballon.

    2)  How much gas?  Even the most difficult balloons that can be inflated by mouth with air are very near atmospheric pressure.  So for a 8 in /20 cm diameter sphere, you'll get 4*pi/3*(10)^3 ~ 4000 cm3 = 4 liters at room temp and atmospheric pressure.  4 liters of ideal gas is about 1/6 of a mole at normal conditions, which for helium at 4 grams/mole is 0.7 grams, roughly.

  3. 4-6 liters of gas (air or helium)

  4. Helium isn't air, so I would say none at all.
