Call the nearest Air port and ask this Q? to the people at the hanger or write to a air line that services your nearest air port and ask for the pay scales, tell them you are interested in the carrier and you like to talk to some one that will guide you.

Hopefully as much as they do here in the US.  (yeah, right).

welll lets see, in the US it could be from 60 - 80k$ for someone with 5 or less years experience. (im not talking the grease monkeys here.  Engineers.  tech's get paid less

so on a 5 to one ratio, (like other industries in india) 12 to 16 k$ (dont know the rupee conversion)

Are you in India?  A lot of Indians come to the US, I wonder if it's because of the pay.  My neighbor is an engineer.  I'll ask him tomorrow.
