Question:

How much alcohol can I bring back to Singapore?

I am currently overseas and I am thinking of buying back some alcohol (2 bottles of 1 litre) from the location that I am in now.

EXCLUDING the duty free alcohol which I can buy legally at the airport, is there any limit on how much alcohol I can bring back to Singapore which I purchased overseas?

  1. Bona fide travellers 18 years & above, who have arrived from countries other than Malaysia & have spent 48 hours or more outside Singapore immediately, will be granted the following duty-free concession:

    • 1 litre spirits (brandy,whisky,gin,rum,vodka,etc)

    • 1 litre wine

    • 1 litre beer or stout or ale or porter

Duty-free concessions are granted on items for your personal consumption only.It is an offence to sell or give them away.

  2. You can bring any amount you like. Just don't declare it. I've brought 8 bottles of wine from Australia with no problem. :-)
