I am throwing my husband a 25th surprise birthday party and about 50 people (maybe a little less) are expected. I am going to have someone bartend, but I wanted to know how much alcohol I should supply. I was thinking of 2 kegs, but how much liquor and mixers? The crowd is a bunch of 20somethings, so we drink alot lol !

  1. Why don't you adopt a bring a bottle policy, tell everyone to bring some drink and this way everyone will have at least some alcohol and you will save money.  You should also provide some yourself.

  2. yeah  i'd say the two kegs be fine but some extra cans just in case, Plenty of bottles of wine red and white, about 3 or 4 liters of liquor and a few mixers

  3. Knowing my friends, I'd plan for a 5th per every 2 people...so you're looking at 25 5ths of whatever hard stuff you decide...convert that to whatever you want and buy the right amount...worst case scenario you end up with extras....which isn't a worst case scenario at all...
