yep, pretty much all beer is 5% unless it's Guinnes  (which is less) or malt liquor (which is more)

probably the usual 4%-6% that most US beers have. 5 proof is 10%. That's malt liquor.

And for the person who said 5 proof = 10%, they have their units backwards.  5 proof = 2.5%.   5% = 10 proof.
