How much alternatives are there in the name D AV I D?

If you don't know what i mean:

You can have DAVDI or DADVI.

However you are not allowed to have two DDAVI because there are two D's in the name......so i managed to count 24 but i think this is the wrong answer, and no the answer is not 5!.... (which is 120 by the way)

I think there are 60. There are 5 different ways of choosing the first letter, 4 different ways of choosing the second letter, 3 different ways of choosing the third letter, and 2 different ways of choosing the 4th letter. The product of these numbers is 120. However since every D can be replaced by the other D, we need to divide our 120 by 2. So there are 60 ways.

I think the answer is 90 because for each letter (5 letters in DAVID) has 18 possibilites to start with that letter and have the all 5 letters (no doubles) in the word
