find your VIN # (usually on the drivers side windshield above the wipers) and go to kelly blue book online. they will give you a good estimate

There are a bunch of places to check car prices on the Internet.  NADA guides is one - but since they are owned by the car dealers association I never recommend them.  KBB is another.  Driverside.com is a new site and they have some cool data showing price based on mileage.

You need to give more info about what the car has in it. Does it have air conditioning, a CD player, etc... Go to www.kbb.com and you can look it up on your own for what you can expect from a private sale vs. if you traded it in at dealer or what you would expect to pay for it if you were to buy it from a dealer.

i use the same source stevo uses to check prices.  you might compare your car to others online at places like autotrader.com, cars.com or go to www.edmonds.com or www.nada.com for other price checks too
