Well the fare from Brighton to Gatwick which is around half way is about £50, so i would say double that and then add some depending on where you are coming from in London.

If you are travelling from London to Brighton the best and chepest way is either by train or the coach.

It takes about 2 hours by car from central london to Brighton depending on traffic.
