  1. $5000 and 5 weeks.

  2. you could also go for a sport pilot license.  its a bit cheaper for the training.  it takes an average of 15-20 lessons depending on the individual.  i don't know where you are at.  we have a school here in northern california if you are interested.  http://www.freedomfield.com

  3. Since no one knows where you are and how adept you are at learning, the question is impossible to answer. 2 months should be ample time if you have the money and are a good learner. You will have to get pricing from your local school, because it varies from school to school.

  4. Minimum 40 flight hours required, for the US at least, however, it takes most people longer than that  Cost could be from around $5,000 to $8,000 or more.  People getting their private for fun only usually take anywhere from 6 months to 2 years.  Those going career can do it in a few months, if they devote 100% of their time to it.  2 months would be pushing it.  Don't rush it.  There's a lot to learn.  Unless you don't have a job and don't go to school, I don't recommend taking more than 3 lessons per week.

  5. 6k 3 mo steady

  6. Typical cost is 8k-9k.

    be at least 17 years

have a current FAA third-class medical certificate

log at least 40 hours of flight

have at least 20 hours of flight with an instructor

have at least 10 hours of solo flight

pass the FAA Private Pilot Airmen Knowledge written test

pass a FAA Private Pilot flight exam

  7. If you could fly daily, and had the money, you can find an "accelerate" program. You will fly the required 40 hours (plus more as needed) in about three-weeks time. The costs are around $5K to $10K, depending on where you live, airplane type, and total number of hours you fly.

It is worth every minute and penny!

  8. Best in Flight Academy in Morristown NJ, offers a two week course and they will pick you up at your local airport. You fly several times per day. It's more of an adventure because you fly to different areas. They do normally require that you have completed your ground school. Check out their site www.bestinflight.net
