How much and how old do you have to be in order to adopt a child?

i just have always wanted to adopt a child from some other country

I think to adopt a child you have to be married because usually they want to give the child away to a good home, but i believe you may be able to adopt at 18 if your responsible, but i may be wrong about the marriage thing

i think you have to be 21 or older if you is adopting from another country . but some ages varies in different countries
