Hay. Im going for a week- end to Florence but can only manage to get a flight from Pisa, so I will need to travel to Florence by train from Pisa airport.

Does anybody know how much this costs and how easy it is and how long it takes from Pisa airport to Florence city centre?

Thanks!

  1. Maximum 1,5 hour by train, around 7 Euro

  2. Check the italian train info on www.trenitalia.it

For example, with a fast train, it takes 1hr 20 mins.

And it cost about 7 euro.

  3. visit www.eurorail.co.uk.follow links or ring up they were really helpfull

  4. I made a lookup and found a variation between 1h 15min and

1h 45min dependent on time of travel.

You can lookup the same and book the relevant ticket online here:

    http://www.italyexposed.com/bookings.sht...

Scroll down to the ".. EUROPEAN RAIL Passes and Tickets.." section and click on it.

On the next page select "Italy & beyond" link under the "City-to-City Tickets" section.

Here you'll find all the alternative tickets on the date you're travelling.

    Have a nice trip!

  5. I use to take the train often from the Pisa airport back to Florence while I was there.  An hour and twenty minutes tops.  It only costs five euro when I was there but that was almost two years ago (way too long ago, can't wait to go back).  I'm assuming from everyone elses answers that they bumped up the price to seven euro.  But it shouldn't take an hour and a half.  It always took me a little over an hour.  Have fun!!
