  1. 2 hours 35 minutes

The round trip fare can be as little as 59 British pounds.

    Consult the Eurostar website: http://www.eurostar.com/UK/uk/leisure/tr...

  2. I think it's about 40 minutes.

But you've got to remember that us Brits are an hour behind, and the French are an hour ahead.

So if you're going from France to Britain, you arrive before you left (in theory).

  3. Great question!  I travel on Eurostar often.  The travel time from Paris to London is usually a little faster than London to Paris.   On average it is 2 hours and 35 minutes but can vary depending on weather and traffic.  I've made it in 2 hours a few times!  You'll need to consult the schedule as the other "answerers" suggest.  The actual time in the "tunnel" is only about 20 minutes usually!  Most of the trip is over land through the countryside.

The reason the travel time is faster when going to London from Paris is that the tracks in that direction are better.  The tracks leaving London are "slower" due to age and construction (the English don't really have the "rail thing" down yet like the French do).  So sorry to my British friends but it's true.

But, to give the English a break the delays due to scheduling problems from the French side are worse!

    Regards...
