You need to have your pool water tested in order to know how much of which chemical to add.  Go to your local pool-supply store and talk to them.

our store we make out a care guide for weekly maintenance based on the size of your pool. that would probably be the best thing to do is have someone figure out how much you need for each week of what chemicals. I would say the basics would be far as maintenance each week is a algicide, sequestering agent, chlorine, tabs, make sure you have enough stabilizer in the water, and ph levels are ok and alkalinity is where it needs to be.
