How much are average Barnes and Noble employees paid?

I'm planning on applying, but don't know what to fill in for the space marked "Salary or Wage Desired." Any reasonable suggestions?

It depends entirely on what your position will be and how many hours you'll be working per week. I just got hired there as a part time bookseller, and i am getting 7.00 an hour. I think it also depends on years of previous job experience ( that includes any job... not necessarily something in retail) No matter what position you get there though, they will pay you at least average if not more... Barnes and Noble is a great place to work! (BTW, i think i put 6-6.50 on that spot on my application... always aim low)
