Usually common Betta's are very cheap. Ranging from $2.00 to $7.00, but they're are two very expensive breeds.

The Western Blue devil is around $600.00 and the Marine Betta is about $70.00.

I got my male betta fish at $3-$4.

It depends if you want a male/female or betta/crowntail.

Females are smaller than males but they are around the same price. (Males have a much nicer appearance).

A crowntail betta has a tail that seems like it is ripped. (I don't suggest crowntails because they look freaky and they are more expensive).

A normal betta is the typical betta you see on the internet. (That's what I got for $3-$4).

betta's are about $3-6 if you were to get one I would go to wal-mart because they are torchured i would say my freind and i went to walmart and there was one that had alge all in its container and there was about 4 or 5 bettas that looked almost dead and there other fish in the big tanks there had to be at least 6 dead so i would seggest geting them from wal-mart to save them. and the coust of them all together woul be about twenty dollars because of the tank, conditioner, food, and the plant

you can probably pick one up at a pet store or walmart for around 5 dollars. i suggest a pet store..

depends on where you live and where you buy them - discount store vs. petshop.

normal betta fish cost about anywhere from $2.00-$4.00,

crowntails are $3.00- $7.00,

over half moons, half moons, and delta tails cost anywhere from $10.00-$15.00.

these are mainly estimates. the females usually cost less than males.

Your basic veil tail male is usually around 3-4$ and can be found in most pet stores

Crowntails (my personal fav and pictured in my avatar)are also widely available now and usually run 5-7$

Other tails types can be more expensive like deltas and halfmoons and are not always found in pet stores.  Plakats and double tails also exsist.  Even the more exotic tails can usually be purchessed for under $25 but show quality bettas can go for significantly more.

I typically see halfmoons for sale anywhere between 14$ - 25$ depending on quality.

Deltas - 12-20$

Plakats - 7-14$

Double tails - 9-20$
