How much are cancelled stamps worth?

i have about 45-one is of James Stewart but it's all these aren't very old.

Usually not very much.  Keep them for a few more years and you might see their value increase.

  almost all stamps US made after 1940 are worth almost nothing, even dealers are selling many for postage. These are more for starting a new collection than for making money. they are also good for collection postal history but that is an advanced hobby and not as many collect it as just stamps. We use them for young collectors to start a new album, and if they damge them no money is lost.
