How much are contacts?

On my insurance they don't pay for contacts, so i was wondering how much it would be to buy them without insurance or anything?

i get the ones that you are supposed to wear for a month, but instead i wear them for 6 months.

You get a little box of 6 for each eye, which normally lasts 6 months, but in reality, they will last 36 months  :)

these will cost you maybe 80 bucks, on top of the exam.

A little known secret is that the contacts that "last" a month, are the same as the ones that last a year.  Exact same material, exact same design, shape, everything.
