Okay, I'll do my best to answer. I live in Missouri :). I don't know if they accept Medicaid, but it costs $35 for an eye exam.  I think it is $75 for contacts.  I don't know what area you live in, but if you call around, there might be somewhere cheaper.  I know they only charge $60 for a contact exam at the local place I go to,and the accept Medicaid.

Contact lens exams ALWAYS cost more than regular eye exams because you're also paying a $30 or so fitting fee above the cost of the basic eye exam. But don't let this stop you from getting contacts if you want them.

I would assume the cost of the exam is probably about $45, just like they are at Wal-Mart vision centers in Ohio. Wal-Mart pricing structures seem to be pretty uniform in the Midwest.
