Erm...you couldn't do it. Virgin CrossCountry don't exist. Its now CrossCountry Trains, part of Arriva, who run an absolute shambles of an operation, not only on the trains, but the buses too! I don't know how much it is, btu you could check on www.crosscountrytrains.co.uk, if you dare travel with them at all that is - i wouldnt reccomend it!

Depends how early you book it - earlier the better.

Book it early enough in advance and it could be anything between £14 - £33 for an adult, £61.90 if you buy it on the day (single)

For a child it costs between £7 and £17 in advance, £30.95 on the day.
