How much are leopard geckos at petco and petsmart?

they are about 110 where i live, but you really shouldnt be buying animals from petco or petsmart, the dont care about them, they all come from some type of mill and all they want is your money. :l

My leopard gecko was around 25 dollars, but thats not counting all of the equipment for them.  I don't know if you have everything already but just in case you don't then heres a list:  and if you add everything from the list it's about 200 or more dollars.

1) a good sized tank

2) cage carpet

3) a wire lid

4) day heat lamp

5) night heat lamp

6) water dish

7) a humid hiding place

8) dry hiding place

9) under tank heater

10) things to climb on

11) crickets, mealworms, waxworms(but only occasionally, they're high in fat. It's more of a treat) Crickets should be the main diet.

12) a cricket carrier

13) cricket food( you can buy jarred food from the petstore, but it's healthier if you feed them fresh fruits and vegetables. If you don't feed the crickets a good diet then they will have no nutritional value for your lizard. tropical fish flakes, leafy greens [romaine, mustard greens, kale, collard greens], squash, sweet potatoes, carrots, oranges, apples, potatoes, alfalfa, baby rice cereal, wheat germ. No tomatoes or oranges, any high citrus fruits.)

14) calcium powder

15) Spring water. If you use tap water then the lizard ingests the chlorine and other chemicals. You don't want to use any type of dechlorinator on lizard water. Regular drinking water has no minerals, this is why spring water is best.

16) a squirt bottle

17) some lizards require UV lighting too, but not leopard geckos because they're nocturnal.

18) temperature and relative humidity gauge

they are about 29.99 where im at. i just got one from petsmart about a month ago, and she is doing great. but from a pet store its a 50-50 chance. good luck
