Pool guards are typically minimum wage, a bit more if they are union (quite rare.)  Beach guards are a bit more but they are mostly there to get dates.  Forget Baywatch, that is as real as Global Warming.

I'm assuming you're talking about life guards? They don't get paid much since it's a seasonal position. The one's I know get paid $8-$10/hr
