  1. You can get an Oyster card from any tube station (not sure how much the actual card is, 50p or something) anyway you can have £13 for a weeks unlimited travel on the buses, and/or you can load £5, £10 or more (top up at any tube station) and you can ride on the tube and buses at a discount rate (£1 - £2 each tube ride and 90p for bus ride) or £15 for a weeks unlimited travel on the bus, tube and train.

    Search for Oyster in yahoo.uk, there is a website. Not sure how much a one day travel card is because I don't them anymore.


  2. Look on the transport for London website, which is the site most people who live in London use:

    This is an official government site (you can tell from the "gov" in the web address!) so has up to date rates and you can also plan your journey with the journey planner.
